Apologies for the lack of updates over the last few weeks, I have been away on annual leave, however normal service has been resumed and updates will be received weekly until the Christmas break.

Theft
September 19th (13:21): Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray – unknown male steals £55 worth of Prosecco from a petrol station.
September 20th (16:50 – 16:53): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – known female enters petrol station and steals meat to the value of £43.40.
September 23rd (10:50): Market Place, Melton Mowbray – known female steals a £10 DVD from retail premises.
September 23rd (21:04): Burrough Road, Somerby – witnesses see men in balaclavas stealing a horse box trailer. They were thought to be driving a maroon Subaru.
September 24th (16:25): Queen Street, Bottesford - £146 items stolen from a retail premises.
September 25th (07:30 – 17:30): Burton Street, Melton Mowbray – Mountain Apollo Evade mountain bike secured to railings outside St Mary’s Church was stolen.
September 26th (09:30): Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray – Blue Ford Focus (AE02 0WB) fills up with £43.36 fuel. The driver leaves without paying.
September 26th (10:15): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – female suspect is observed on CCTV stealing handbag from trolley at a supermarket.
Crime
September 19th (13:45): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – young boy tries to pay for items with a fake £50 note.
Vehicle crime
September 18th (18:00 -18:20): Church Lane, Long Clawson – motorbike stolen from layby at the side of owner’s house.
September 19th (09:30 -14:30): Hoby Road, Brooksby – secure vehicle broken into and car stereo and dash cam stolen.
September 19th (20:30) – September 20th (07:00): Morris Cam Walk, Asfordby - secure van parked outside owner’s property was broken into and tools stolen – some of which were left in the road.
September 20th (09:12): Newport Avenue, Melton Mowbray – secure vehicle broken into and various items stolen.
September 22nd (18:14): Bayswater Road, Melton Mowbray – car stolen from driveway of property.
September 21st (18:00) – 24th September (08:00): Beler Way, Melton Mowbray – forecourt of car dealership broken into and trailer stolen from utility vehicle.
Burglary dwelling
September 20th (04:00): Clumber Street, Melton Mowbray – insecure shed broken into and items stolen.
September 24th (10:39): Gibsons Lane, Old Dalby – property broken into and items stolen.
September 26th (08:49): Balmoral Road, Melton Mowbray – property broken into and items stolen.
Criminal Damage
September 21st (16:35): Rutland Street, Melton Mowbray – known male damages front door of property.
September 22nd (08:00) – September 24th (08:00): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – vehicle left secure in car park was found to be damaged.
