    Here is the Crime Update for week ending 31st October 2018.  If after reading this update there is anything you would like to notify Leicestershire Police about please make contact via Neighbourhood Link.

    Theft

    October 23rd (21:00): Main Street, Buckminster – theft of 400m of underground cabling.

    October 24th (13:30): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – unknown male steals £42 worth of printer ink from a supermarket.

    October 25h (11:37): Sherrard Street, Melton Mowbray – known male steals box of chocolates from a newsagent’s.

    October 25th (14:45 – 15:20): Cheapside, Melton Mowbray – male arrested after stealing items from a retail premises.

    October 25th (14:06 – 14:27): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – known female steals various items from a supermarket.

    October 26th (20:10): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – unknown male steals £50 worth of washing powder from petrol station shop.

    October 28th (16:44 – 16:46): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – known female steals numerous items from petrol station shop. The same offender steals more items on 29th October at 17:50.

    October 29th (09:30): Shepherd’s Croft, Melton Mowbray – known male steals insecure bicycle.

    October 29th (22:501): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – unknown male steals £49.30 worth washing detergent from petrol station shop.

    October 30th (15:00) – October 31st (07:45): Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray – trailer left secure overnight, was broken into.  Nothing stolen.

    Vehicle crime

    October 23 (17:30) – October 24th (08:30): Quorn Avenue, Melton Mowbray – secure car broken into and items stolen.

    October 23rd (18:00) – October 25th (07:10): Hadfield Drive, Melton Mowbray – secure vehicle broken into, search made but nothing stolen.

    October 24th (23:30) – October 25th (08:09): Park Avenue, Melton Mowbray – secure vehicle broken into and handbag stolen.

    October 26th (04:30 – 08:30): Kings Road, Melton Mowbray – secure van broken into and items removed from briefcase.

    Burglary dwelling

    October 24th (10:30 – 14:00): Yew Tree Crescent, Melton Mowbray – ground floor flat broken into and items stolen.

    Burglary non-dwelling

    October 28th (12:00) – October 29th (07:30): Norman Way, Melton Mowbray - business broken into and 8 bottles of champagne stolen.

    Criminal Damage

    October 20th (16:31) – October 21st (16:32): Dalby Road, Melton Mowbray – community centre windowsill burnt.

    October 26th (18:30)0 – October 26th (07:30): Park Road, Melton Mowbray – unknown male sets fire to bins in an outbuilding.

    October 25th (18:30) – October 26th (07:30): Jubilee Street, Melton Mowbray – secure vehicle had window smashed, no entry gained.
