Noise Nuisance

Unfortunately there may be times when you are affected by a Noise related issue.

In the majority of these circumstances the Police are not the most appropriate agency and therefore you will need to contact Leicester City Council in the first instance.

Noise can be in the form of a Commercial and Industrial or Domestic issue. Noise can be very distressing. It must be classed as a 'noise nuisance' for the City Council to take action, which means it has to be regularly affecting your quality of life. This can include disturbing sleep or being heard clearly over your television. The City Council have to assess the level of noise before taking action to determine whether it can be classed as a noise nuisance.
