One of the priorities residents of the Melton Town North Beat have raised is Drug Dealing and Drug Taking.

PCSOs Jake and Will have delivered leaflets and engaged with members of the community around the Drummond Walk and Fairmead Estate area today. The leaflets are encouraging the community to report any information known about the supply or use of drugs to the Police.

Officers will continue to stop search those individuals we believe to be causing the community the most harm, in the areas that we have received information for, as well as carrying out enforcement at addresses.

But we need your help to bring offenders to justice, therefore we are urging anyone to report any information known about the supply, or use of drugs, to us by one of the following methods:

- Calling 101 (always phone 999 in an emergency).

- Private message the Melton or Leicestershire Police Facebook or Twitter accounts.

- You can also report information to us completely anonymously via Crime Stoppers online, or over the phone, their website is www.crimestoppers-uk.org/ and their phone number is 0800 555 111.
