Stop Search completed on a vehicle following a report of the smell of Cannabis from a vehicle on Aston Lane. Incident dealt with at scene.

We are investigating several incidents of eggs being thrown at properties overnight on 04/01/2021 (00:00-00:30). It appears they may have been thrown from a vehicle. Streets involved include Hinckley Road, Church Street and Coventry Road. Please review your CCTV as we are eager to try and trace the person responsible for this due to the distress and impact on local residents.

Whilst patrolling we have spoken to local residents around the Sketchley Brook estate and Brookside. Concerns around drug use have been raised. We are completing targeted patrols of these areas but would encourage anyone with information to get in touch. Activity include use of Nitrous Oxide canisters. We would be interested if you have details such as times, days, vehicle registrations or images of the suspects, so please get in touch.

Due to the current restrictions, we have been unable to complete our youth engagements in local schools. I have put a few links below to some websites that may be of use. With more people using online communication, it may be worth taking a few minutes to look through some of these. Other issues such as drug use and domestic violence are also concerns that residents may need support with.
