  • Burbage Appeal Bicycle Theft

    Alert message sent 07/01/2021 08:02:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Hello. Thank you for being part of Burbage Neighbourhood Link https://www.neighbourhoodlink.co.uk/

Appeal on behalf of a Burbage resident. Sometime between 19:00 on 4th January and 07:00 on 6th January, 2 bicycles were stolen from a shed on Oak Close. It is likely this happened overnight and it is believed the suspects got away over the field which would have taken them possibly towards Grange Drive. If by any chance you have seen anything suspicious or see these bikes please get in touch. If you find these bikes dumped, please take them to a secure place until they can be collected.  Crime number 21*9038.

Please consider property marking, alarmed sheds or other crime reduction. Click REPLY or drop me an Email to darren.stretton@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk if you would like to know more.

Concern raised of drug use around Hinckley Road Park. If you see anything suspicious in the area, please call 101 immediately. I'm sure there are plenty of dog walkers in the area that may have some useful information. Anything that can help us identify those involved would be greatly appreciated. Information you give us helps us target our patrols to challenge this type of behaviour. Times, days or images help us challenge and deal with these activities.

Just to mention as I am sure everyone is aware, the Covid guidelines changed this week. Please take a few minutes to ensure you are aware of the guidelines if you are unsure.  https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home?priority-taxon=774cee22-d896-44c1-a611-e3109cce8eae . You can find out information about support bubbles, childcare bubbles and education amongst other subjects. There is also a section on financial support.

Thank you for your time and take care.
