Hello Citizen,

As we are now under another period of restrictions I’d like to thank everyone who is complying with the latest measures, hopefully things will start to improve for everyone over the coming months.

It is very much business as usual for the Police and we will continue to be out and about across Melton Town South responding to your concerns.

From survey’s completed by you the main three priorities for the beat have been identified as:

1) Anti-Social Behaviour
2) Road Safety Issues
3) Drug Dealing

Regarding Anti-Social Behaviour we have been patrolling the hotspots identified by you and have seen a decrease in issues. We will continue to monitor and do please report any concerns you have to us – if we know where the issues are, we know where to concentrate our patrols.

We have been out on Leicester Road and Dalby Road conducting speed checks and will also be on other roads in the coming weeks.

Work is also ongoing regarding targeting those that intelligence suggests are dealing drugs.
